Stacey Davis named to “Top Attorneys 2015” list in the April edition of Birmingham Magazine

Stacey Davis was named to the “Top Attorneys 2015” list in the April edition of Birmingham magazine.  She was recognized as one of the top lawyers in Birmingham for her work and achievement in the practice area of Entertainment Law.

Birmingham magazine conducted its sixth-annual peer reviewed survey this winter asking more than 4,000 local attorneys registered with the Birmingham Bar Association for their nominations for the area’s top lawyers in 35 practice areas.  Birmingham magazine staff members and the Birmingham Bar Association reviewed the results to vet both the voters and the winners.  The attorneys listed represent the top five in each category.

First Day of School

As an entertainment lawyer, I’ve taken great satisfaction in helping my clients achieve their creative, artistic and entrepreneurial goals. Your success has inspired me to take the next step in my own creative journey.  So I am very excited to announce that one of my scripts is going to be made into a film in May!

It’s a comedic short about the love/hate relationship that siblings never seem to outgrow.  In addition to writing the short, I will be co-producing.  Nick will be executive producing and Roberta Marie Munroe has signed on to direct and co-produce. Roberta is an award winning producer/director and former short film programmer at Sundance Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival.  Her work has appeared in festivals all over the world, including Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Outfest, TriBeCa and many more.

Before cameras start to roll, however, we have to raise a budget of $25,000.  I know this seems like a lot, but based on the outpouring of support we’ve already received, we are confident that we can get this done.  We are using Seed & Spark for our campaign.  If you’re not familiar, Seed & Spark is a crowdfunding platform that allows people all over the world to come together to support the development of a film and by being funded through Seed & Spark, we will have a variety of distribution options available following a festival run.

Our campaign goes live on Tuesday, March 17 – it’s St. Paddy’s Day and we are launching our ‘Show Us Your Green’ campaign.  To contribute:  You can receive updates on our project by liking our FB page ( or following us on Twitter (@siblingcode).  You can also check out our website,, for more information.

Please share this post (and our campaign materials once we launch) far and wide.  The more eyes and ears we can attract, the more likely we will reach our goal.

Thank you so much for your support!
